Christmas in England

We spent Christmas in England this year, and everyone spent lots of time playing with Jay, who was celebrating his first Christmas this year. He really liked his baby-walker:

 

Jay enjoyed being the head of the table every day for meals in my parent's new extension.

 

 When the presents arrived, everyone got alittle excited:

 

We also had some huge meals, and everyone had too much to eat:

With Christmas comes wine and crackers.

Jay loved the crackers.

Home!

We made it home safe - and Jay is getting used to life without his adoring fans!

Run up to Christms

We've been at my families house this week getting ready for Christmas. We took some time out to see some friends as well:







This has involved taking J on some trips on cars, trains and buses. When we are lucky, he has slept well:





When not so lucky, he has been a little terror. However, to avoid us leaving him on a bus to the outer reaches of the land, he then makes extra effort to look cute:

Jay's first Hanukkah

It was Jay's first Hanukkah - and he spent the day keeping his parent's up driving around on his car:

Jay's first Thanksgiving

Jay had his first Thanksgiving this year. We spent it with friends, and Jay enjoyed having Turkey for the first time!

After this, Jay and his parents had a good nap!

Jess comes to visit

Jay's first Halloween

It was Jay's first Halloween, and he dressed up as a Dragon for the event:

Despite the storm two nights before, we still had lots of Trick-or-Treaters come our way from around the neighborhood.

Got a little windy, but we woke up with power and mainly leaves down around us.

Jay goes pre-storm panic buying

Before Hurricane Sandy hits the East Coast, Jay went panic buying in the store for basic supplies.

Pumpkin Picking

It's pumpkin time, and we went pumpkin picking. Sarah even made Jay a hat:

Sarah went out for half an hour, and Jay had a little adventure:
